Keeping Current with CEF

Technology has made communication a whole new experience. Our kids have become experts at being in constant comunication and spelling without vowels!! As leaders and parents, it is important to stay current. I wanted to learn new communication skills like text messaging and some cyber safety tips to pass along to kids and parents. Going on the assumption that many adults need some assitance in the area in technology … and communication, listed below are some information sources are helpful.

Good information about text messaging:

Text Generation Gap: U R 2 Old (JK) New York Times

AT&T has a parents tutorial --- TXT 2 Connect with Teens -- A Parent's TXT Tutorial.  This is a free PDF file that you can download
Kids in your youth groups are also a good source of information!!!
