2011 Alternative Courses
Please note--In order to receive continuing education credit for Alternative Courses, all lay speakers are required to contact their District Director(s) of Lay Speaking Ministries for approval and to obtain the required Continuing Education Form. Upon completion of the course and the lay speaker's portion of the form, the completed form is then to be returned to your District Director in order for credit to be given.
Opportunity #1
NOTE--In order to take advantage of this opportunity your congregation must be registered with the Office of Congregational Development.
This workshop will meet the requirements (5 hours) of a Local Church Lay Speaker Refresher Course.
For Advanced Course (Certified) credit TWO (2) workshops (#'s 2-5) will be required in order to meet the 10 hour requirement. Credit will be given in the year the second workshop is completed.
