New Streams

New Streams waterNew Streams of Living Water helps congregations develop their own unique disciple formation and spiritual leadership development process, custom-fit to the context of the local church. It is a response to the question churches are asking – “We really want to be about forming disciples for Jesus Christ, but how do we do that?” It is not a program, the “latest thing,” or a passing fad.

Churches that participate in the New Streams process discover what it means to be a disciple in their particular setting and evaluate what they are currently doing to help people to become disciples and live out their faith in service. Then they establish their own comprehensive system of disciple formation that helps people to grow in their faith, whether they are just curious about God, ready to profess their faith, maturing in the faith, or beginning to lead others.

New Streams does not ask churches to “reinvent the wheel” or throw out everything they already do to make disciples. Instead, New Streams helps churches to be more intentional about supporting people at all stages of their faith journey.
