Aldersgate Federal Credit Union

Since 1962, the Aldersgate Federal Credit Union has given its members a place for their savings that is safe and provides good dividends and loans at competitive rates. Membership is open to all persons who are under appointment by the Bishop of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference and their spouses, retired clergy of the Conference and their spouses, full-time employees of the IGRC and members of their families.

Christian Educators Fellowship

The Illinois Great Rivers Chapter of the Christian Educators Fellowship (CEF) seeks to nurture, support, challenge, and advocate for persons with responsibility for fostering discipleship through Christian education. The Fellowship also awards grant money available for ministries, programs and workshops that are in alignment with the mission statements of CEF, IGRC, and The United Methodist Church.

COSROW

The General Commission on the Status and Role of Women (COSROW) is one of 12 churchwide agencies of The United Methodist Church, which is financed through the World Service Fund (apportioned giving from local congregations). It is one of two independent commissions (the other is the General Commission on Religion and Race) charged with advocating, monitoring and challenging the church to seek justice and inclusiveness. The conference Commission carries out parallel functions at the conference level that the general commission carries out at the denomination level.

Deaf Faith Community of Jacksonville

The Deaf Faith Community of Jacksonville is a ministry location for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Jacksonville, IL. It was formed by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry in cooperation with the IGRC Cabinet as a place of ministry specifically tailored to the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing Ministry

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry team's mission is "to make deaf and hard of hearing disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the church and the world." Its goals are to help IGRC churches establish deaf ministries in their local church communities and to help IGRC churches to become more accessible.

Eagle House Ministries

Eagle House Ministries is an non-profit organization aiding to the development of servant hood in others while also providing help for those in the community that are in need. We also focus on the discipleship of youth.

Midwest Mission Distribution Center

The Midwest Mission Distribution Center has been a ministry that provides shipment of materials, making of health kits, layette kits as a cooperating partner with the United Methodist Committee on Relief and the Sager Brown UMCOR depot in Baldwin, La.

Order of St. Luke

The Order of Saint Luke is a dispersed community of women and men, lay and clergy, seeking to live the sacramental life. Founded in 1946, the Order was formed to bring about a recovery of the worship and sacramental practice which has sustained the Church since its formation in Apostolic times. At the same time, the Order seeks to help the Church rediscover the spiritual disciplines of the Wesleys.

Since 1940, the United Methodist Ministries Credit Union has encouraged thrift among its members, created a source of credit at a reasonable rate of interest, and provided an opportunity for its members to use and control their own money in order to improve their economic and social conditions.

United Methodist Motorsports Ministry

UMMM reaches race fans and race teams at the track and in the pits. The ministry uses personal appearances, Vacation Bible Schools, racing events, printed and electronic media, including radio, television, and internet.

United Voices for Children

United Voices for Children (UVC) speaks and acts on behalf of all the children and youth in the Northern Illinois and Illinois Great Rivers conferences of The United Methodist Church. Founded in 1979, the mission has been to speak in one voice and act on behalf of troubled and needy children and youth who lack the voice of an advocate and to nurture and support the ministries of conference related child-serving agencies.
