This camp is for those who want to take part in a real rustic camping experience. Why sleep in a cabin when we can build our own shelter? We will be doing primitive camping out in the woods. This week, we will sleep in tents and make our own shelters. You will learn all kinds of outdoor living skills and spend time reflecting on God’s will for our lives. However, you can’t come to East Bay and not participate in all our fun camp activities. During the day we will spend plenty of time swimming, boating, tree climbing, playing games, crafts, and much more. Register early -- we only have so many tents.

We hope you’ll join our crazy camp staff for a Spirit-filled, life-changing week of living in the love of Jesus Christ where we’ll create lasting memories, make real connections with Christ, and build cardboard boats for the 14th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta!

Are you tired of coloring in the lines? Are you wild and crazy about exploring with color and experimenting with texture in your artwork? Do you really care what type of mess your project might make? Neither do we. Come paint or work with clay. Chaotic messy arts will be the goal and outrageous fun will be our reward. Don’t bring new clothing to this camp unless you want it to go home tie dyed. How do you express yourself in worship? Do you use words? Music? Art? Drama? Or maybe it’s something entirely different. Where do you find inspiration? Where does God speak to you? Come to this camp and we’ll look at new ways to worship. We’ll help you discover your worship gifts and passions, and we’ll spend time letting God inspire us through a variety of water activities: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing – and maybe just sitting still by the shore of Lake Bloomington. Room is limited so register early.

Choose your favorite activity – outdoor skills, sailing, mud volleyball, last year’s new favorite tree-climbing, and sneak out when you should be getting ready to sleep. Don’t forget mega water activities, archery, challenge course, and our high-tech evening worship. We’ve told you everything you need to know -- you don’t want to miss it!

What does it mean to be a member of a church? What are YOUR responsibilities? What expectations come
with confirmation? You may know the answer but do your youth fully understand what it means to be
confirmed? We invite you and your youth to join other UM confirmand’s as they are led through the
weekend discovering the rich history of the United Methodist Church. Materials from both Claim the Name
(Living Springs) and Credo (East Bay and Little Grassy) will give an opportunity for your students to grow as
they learn.

early for your first choice of camp. Retreats will start on Friday at 7 PM and end after worship on Sunday by
11 AM.

We don’t want our camp volunteers to miss out on the camp volunteer opportunity because there is no one to watch the kids, so we are providing a day camp for the children of our volunteers all summer long. This camp will offer age-appropriate camp activities for those children who are too old or too young to participate in the camps where their parents are volunteering. Children will eat meals with their parents and campers and will sleep with parents in their cabins at night.

Staff members fulfill the main leadership roles and function as the main counselors for Summer Games Camp. They work with Summer Games and SLT campers alike to provide a fun, safe, Christian environment. Adults help provide supervision and evaluation of SLT campers, as well as help “behind the scenes.” Adults provide more of a support network rather than main leadership roles—this provides personal time for reflection, study, and personal work.
