ANNUALLY:

S.O.S (Summer's Over Soon) This is an annual Pontiac First sponsored event in coordination with area churches and the City of Pontiac.  Our focus is to bring the love of Christ into the community by gifting of our time, gifts and prayer.  This is an entirely free event for the public, including games, food and beverages, haircuts for school age students, bouncy houses, interaction with local sheriff, police, EMTs, and police, area not-for-profit informational booths, face painting and music by local worship teams and individuals.  There is a prayer tent open for anyone needing love and prayer, and the sharing of God's word.  The PFUMC sponsored Tutoring Team disperses school supplies to students free of charge.  S.O.S. is held the second Sunday of September.  Over 1,000 attendees are expected to attend.
