Personal message: I support that which builds the church, brings people to Christ and affirms love of God and neighbor as Methodist discipleship metrics. I support the church's position on human sexuality. I do not support schism or separation.  I do not support divestment from Caterpillar. Presbyterian General Assembly actions on sexuality and divestment led to 47% decline in Presbyterian local worship attendance over 6 years. General Conference must not follow that example. African Methodism needs our money; we need Africa's Jesus.  I support measures wisely affirming that connection. I affirm the validity of special interest groups but not manipulating delegates for single-issues of left or right.
