Personal Statement: I am a preacher's kid that has been actively involved in the church my entire life. As a Christian and United Methodist, I am passionate about our witness for Christ. I am especially involved with and passionate for our retired clergy and spouses; for United Methodist Women and the concerns of family, women, and youth; and for the church's global ministry, especially in Liberia. I am not submitting this with any hidden political or social agenda. As a teacher and now as a UMW officer, I have been privileged to attend some national conferences and I know that such a national/ international gathering is an invaluable and profound experience. To represent IGRC would be an honor.
