Personal Statement: I am a retired school administrator having worked as a principal, superintendent and college administrator for over 35 years prior to joining the staff of Christ Church. During that time I have served the local church in nearly every leadership role. My passion is making disciples for Jesus Christ as a United Methodist. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 44 years; we are the parents of seven children and eight grandchildren. I understand how the Bible is the foundation for all the issues facing Christianity in our culture and our society. John Wesley’s guiding principles of “Do No Harm” and “Do All the Good You Can” while loving the Lord has become guidance for all I do as a parent, grandparent and church member. I welcome the opportunity to be part of delegation guiding the future of United Methodism.
