Relevant Leadership Roles: Member of the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, Chair of Conference EMLC Committee, Member of the Connectional Table, PAG member of the National Board of The United Methodist Women.
Experience:  Taught many years in UMW Mission U schools though out the connection; active in United Methodist Women from the local level to the General Church; served on General Boards and Agencies; chaired the General Conference Legislative Committee on Higher Education and Ministry.
Gifts and Passions: My gifts are music, humanities and research. I enjoy genealogy in all facets, and I love to travel.
Other: A retired Music and Humanities Teacher of Springfield District #186; life member of BMCR (Black Methodist for Church Renewal); a former member of the Hymnal Revision Committee and vice chair of Book of Worship; a workshop leader for small groups in Attitude Awareness, Racism, Stress, and Genealogy
Personal Statement: I am willing to read conference materials, listen to people’s concerns and study ways to help our church with its rich heritage to become involve in issues and reflect on our diversity and culture of all our members and help attract new members to our churches.
