Abstract The collection contains 4 membership registers, variously updated throughout the nearly 100 years of the church. This book is a revision and continuation begun in 1955 and completed when the church was closed.
Admin/Biog History This small rural congregation, five miles south of Taylorville in Johnson Township, was one of the northern most churches affiliated with the MECS. The group first met in a schoolhouse. A church was constructed on land given by Neal Keller. Feeling that this building had been achieved through"Divine Providence: the name was chosen and dedicated May 1873.

The church closed in 1980.
