Evenglow Lodge gets high marks from U.S. News and World Report

WASHINGTON – U.S. News Media Group has released the 2011 Best Nursing Homes rankings and Evenglow Lodge in Pontiac is among the group highlighted for high quality service.
The ratings are based on data from Nursing Home Compare, a consumer website run by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The magazine reports that only 18 nursing homes received four straight quarters of perfect five-star ratings from CMS.

URBANA -- Cunningham Children’s Home alumni representing every decade from the 1930’s to the early 2000’s came home to reminisce and reconnect on July 25, 2010. In celebration of the Home’s 115th Anniversary, Cunningham opened its campus to more than 300 former residents, staff, and guests.

Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House is owed more than $1.4 million from the State of Illinois for services that the agency has provided over the past six months. The serious delay in payments from the state has been going on now for more than 18 months. The United Methodist Association (UMA) recently named The Baby Fold’s President and CEO Dale Strassheim as Child, Youth, and Family Services Administrator of the Year.
