2014 Congregational Development Leadership Institute

Plans are underway for the 2014 Congregational Development Leadership Institute. The CDLI engages pastors in learning more about their leadership style and how to lead vital ministry.

Since 2008, over 125 IGRC pastors have participated in the CDLI.

The CDLI consists of four workshops throughout the year. Workshop leaders will include Jim Griffith, Roger Ross, Mike Crawford, and Tom Albin.

The dates for the workshops are:

Jan. 6-7, 2014: Launching New Ministry and Understanding Your Leadership Style with Jim Griffith (UM Center, Springfield)

March, 2014 (specific dates to be announced): Leading a Vital Congregation with Roger Ross (UM Center, Springfield)

June 3-4, 2014: Developing a Ministry Plan with Mike Crawford (Peoria, prior to Annual Conference)

Sept., 2014 (specific dates to be announced): Caring for Yourself as a Leader with Tom Albin (UM Center, Springfield)

Workshops will start at 10 a.m. on the first day and end by noon on the second day.
