Creating a Culture of Growth with Roger Ross

What keeps most churches from growing? It is an unseen but powerful shaper of thought and behavior - culture. Any church that desires to go from decline to sustained growth must go through a "culture shift." Engineering such a shift takes prayer, vision, strategy, tenaciousness, and a good sense of humor. This session will help pastors discover the challenges, heartbreaks, and joys of leading a congregation into a bright new future of growth.

This workshop will be Monday, March __, 10 a.m. until Tuesday, March __, noon at the U.M. Center in Springfield. (specific dates will be announced soon)

Roger Ross has served four different appointments in IGRC: associate pastor of Moline 1st (now Riverside), pastor of Melvin UMC, founding pastor of Champaign New Horizon, and lead pastor of Springfield 1st. In each setting, his leadership brought about new vitality. Roger is an excellent teacher, breaking down principles so others can understand and apply them in their ministry setting.
