2012 Illinois Great Rivers Conference UMC Bible Bowls
Welcome to the 2012 Illinois Great Rivers Conference UMC Elementary, Jr. High, and Sr. High Bible Bowls. The following information will help you as you prepare for the Conference Bible Bowls this year. Each team must register and submit a $2.50 registration fee per person to help with the cost of publicity, materials, and the use of East Bay Camp for the Conference Bible Bowl. Please use the official registration form to register and make checks payable to: “IGRC Bible Bowls.” The Registration Deadline is Monday, April 30, 2012. (It is important that we know how many teams are coming to put together the pairings. Also, East Bay Camp needs to know how many people are coming so that they can plan for cookies and drinks to be available.) [No Regional Bible Bowls have been scheduled this year, but you are encouraged to practice with teams from other churches near you.]

Jr. High (6th** through 8th graders)
Sr. High (9th through 12th graders)
(*3rd graders may participate at the Elementary level if a church desires)
(**6th graders may participate at either the Elementary or Jr. High level)
All questions will be taken from the New International Version of The Bible (1984)
Elementary Bible Bowl Scriptures: Luke 4:1 – 8:25
Jr. High Bible Bowl Scriptures: Jeremiah 27-33
Sr. High Bible Bowl Scriptures: James 4 & 5; 1 Peter & 2 Peter
