EXPECTATIONS- have self assessment form to district office 4 days before consultation, notify district office immediately if you need different time( if available on same day but need different time, please switch with someone and inform office) I know that some of your are bi-vocational and cannot attend during the day. Please call to re-arrange if necessary.

QUESTIONS- How are you experiencing God’s call in this setting? What is bringing you the greatest joy/satisfaction in your ministry in this setting? What are some of the frustrations? What are you most excited/passionate about in the coming year? What are you the most anxious about? What have you attempted for the sake of the mission of the church this year? What worked, what did not, what have you learned?

Tell me about your ministry plan for the next year and what continuing education you are investing in. How is it with your soul? How are you caring for your spiritual and emotional life? Tell me about your covenant group and other practices that are helping you care for your spiritual and emotional life. Tell me about it and other ways that you are tending to your soul and accountability. (If you are not in one – what are the barriers and what are you willing to do to get healthier?) What practices and habits are you finding helpful? How are you caring for your physical and intellectual life? How is your family?

What is your “Connection Quotient”? How are you connected with other brothers and sisters who are nearby and around the conference in ministry? Who are you intentionally mentoring? What would you like for me to pray with you about? What would you like for me to know concerning this place in ministry especially as it relates to your tenure here? What else would you like or need to share with me? How can I help? These are all questions that I would like to try to cover during consultations.

Consultation Schedule Follows:
Please have form from conference filled out and sent to me before your consultation. You may e-mail it to kaskaskiariver@igrc.org - please put pastor consultation form in subject line. The pastor self evaluation form may be found online at www.igrc.org under Kaskaskia River District forms. The questions listed above are not required to be written down but to keep you informed about what our conversation will be about.
