Camp Point UMC held its third annual MIssion Extravaganza on June 19 to make UMCOR cleaning buckets for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center. The event was organized by Tammy Smith and Pastor Joe Tomich. After raising nearly $20,000 for materials, the group assembled 500 flood buckets during a three-hour period on Saturday morning.

MMDC Executive Director Pat Wright and Warehouse Supervisor Mark Freeman drove to Camp Point to help oversee the process of putting the buckets together and transported the buckets back to the Distribution Center.
