The United Methodist Children's Home ministry began in 1913 in Creal Springs and has been located in Mt. Vernon since 1921.  What began as an orphanage has developed into a multi-faceted social service agency providing an array of services to individuals, families, and our communities. Its name was changed in 2016 as the agency continued to expand its outreach and services.
