Annual Conference Child Care Coordinator


The IGRC Committee on Annual Conference Sessions is looking for an excited and organized person to coordinate on-site childcare during our Illinois Great Rivers Annual Conference Session June 8-10 at the Peoria Civic Center. This position will provide a stipend and report to our IGRC Director of Connectional Ministries.

Responsibilities include:
Recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer childcare providers
Organizing and arranging set up and take down of childcare spaces
Planning childcare activities for ages Infant through 7-years during Conference Sessions
Qualifications include:
Leadership experience in early childhood education and/or childcare organization
Knowledge about leading volunteers in childcare setting
Excitement about mission and ministry of The United Methodist Church
Clear background check and excellent references
