The purpose of The Current is to "report significant news, events, programs, ministries, and decisions of The United Methodist Church that occur within the bounds of or are of particular interest to the annual conference, and to publish national and global news of the church. Its focus shall center on the interests, needs, opinions, and concerns of United Methodists."
The Current is published monthly, on the last Friday of the month. Deadline for copy is the Wednesday before publication.
