Benefits Costs for 2023            

Please use the following information in planning your church budget for 2023-                           

  • Health Insurance Allowance for a full-time pastor =  $17,500

2023 Church's contribution to pastor's pension (Part 1) calculation

  • See instructions on 2022 Pastoral Compensation and Benefits Worksheet.
  • Those serving ¼ time or less are not eligible for pension. Lay Servants, Lay Speakers, CLMs, Supply Pastors and Retired Pastors are also not eligible for pension.

2023 Church's contribution to pastor's pension (Part 2) calculation

Full-time pastor = $5,700; 3/4 time pastor = $4,275; 1/2 time pastor = $2,850.  Those serving ¼ time or less are not eligible for CRSP pension. Lay Servants, Supply Pastors and Retired Pastors are also not eligible.
