Fire in the Mountains Ministry is the result of a prophetic word spoken over Richard that he would birth a new ministry that would sweep the mountains like fire, with people saved, healed, delivered, and set free in Jesus’ name. Richard says where he goes he expects life-changing experiences, signs and wonders in his ministry. God has done just that over the past 10 years, and churches catch the fire again; the way Wesley did, empowering and equipping people for ministry.
Richard, known for his “holy boldness” is a Certified Lay Speaker of 18 years in the Methodist Church, and a member of the United Methodist Evangelist Association. His passion is teaching and imparting the gifts of the Holy Spirit, seeing God’s children empowered to be in ministry.
Rev. Matt Henson
An energetic, dynamic, vision-casting adventurer for Jesus describes Matt. Matt brings a fresh perspective and energy to the church and its ministry. Specializing in Youth/Young Adult Ministry, Evangelistic Preaching, and Mission Experiences, Matt uses his experience and passion to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to all people. While at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky., he served as Campus Life Director (Youth for Christ), and has served as Associate and Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor and now as Executive Director and Lead Evangelist for Living the Adventure Ministries.
Matt’s preaching style engages people in a relevant, transforming way; inviting people to live the adventure, calling people of all ages to go beyond religious beliefs to the place of a risk taking faith that fully trusts in Jesus Christ for everything a person needs.
