Mission and Ministry Studies

These studies deal with the ways in which Christians interact with their community. Topics include service, spiritual gifts, stewardship (financial and environmental), racial justice, and more. Resources marked with * are available to borrow from the United Media Resource Center.

Introductory Level

But the answer is not to ignore these as if they don't matter. Instead, we can look at color, class and culture in a positive way. That's gracism. Pastor David Anderson responds to prejudice and injustice with the principle of gracism: radical inclusion for the marginalized and excluded.

In this six-week DVD study, participants discover their S.T.R.I.D.E. -- Spiritual gifts, Talents, Resources, Individuality, Dreams, Experiences -- and explore how they can use their unique God-design to help fulfill the Great Commission (Mt 28:19-20) and live the Greatest Commandment (Mt 22:37-39). An optional seventh session helps place members in specific ministries. This study is also available in a youth version (Serving from the Heart for Youth).

Intermediate Level
