New Pathways is an onboarding process to integrate new church planters into the skills, behaviors, and tools needed to develop a process to begin gathering people and a plan that they can use to begin their ministry on the first day of their appointment.

Course Objectives:

  • Develop the identity of a UM church planter
  • Develop a multiplication mindset
  • Develop a strategy for branding
  • Develop tools for building teams
  • Develop a strategy to engage new people through social media
  • Develop a project planning strategy
  • Develop tools to use Design Thinking in choosing a church planting strategy/identity and branding
  • Develop a Branding Storyboard
  • Develop a Fund-raising plan that can be implemented immediately
  • Clearly identify the people in the ministry context in which you are planting

The cost is $250 per conference plus $40 per person for lunches and snacks. Each conference sending one or more planters and/or conference staff is asked to register all who will attend from their conference in one registration.

The room block closes on May 7, so rooms need to be booked prior to that date.
