2/25/2011
Coin collection cans which can be used to collect spare change for the Imagine No Malaria campaign are available through the Conference Center.
The collection cans, which measure 3 inches in diameter and are 5 ½ inches in height, will make their debut at with the youth Senior High YAR Feb. 25-27, and at Covenant Keepers 2011 Feb. 28-March 1 in Peoria. The I-CAN campaign is one of several fundraising components that assist in achieving the $2.3 to 3.5 million goal.
The colorful label, designed by IGRC graphic designer Natalie Rowe, features the words, “I Can Imagine No Malaria…I Can Help.” The can also has a plug in the bottom so that cans can be emptied when full and refilled again. Churches are asked to develop a collection plan to allow fund collections to be ongoing.
To request coin collection cans, complete an online order form at:
www.igrc.org/INMSupplies. A donation of $1 is suggested to offset the cost of the can and labeling. The cans will be shipped as requests are received and as supplies are available.
