Eula Mae Bender of Manitowish Waters and Minocqua, Wisconsin passed away on September 10, 2015 at the Season’s of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, WI. She was born June 16, 1931 at Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Edward and Freda (nee Tippitt) Sexson.
She graduated from High School in Kincaid, IL, and attended Brown’s Business College in Springfield, IL. She was a photography lab technician for 15 years. She was active on the worship committee, the Women’s Guild and the Madams and Sirs group of the Community Church of Manitowish Waters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Rev. William Bender, and two brothers, Darrell and Walter Sexson.
Survivors include her daughter Susan (David) Knapstein of Arbor Vitae; her son Dale (Jennifer) Bender of Howards Grove, WI; five grandchildren, Christen (Matt) McFarland, Wyatt Knapstein, Ryan, Alyssa and Ty Bender; two great granddaughters, Sydney and Charlotte McFarland.
A memorial service will be held on Friday September 18, 2015 at 1 PM at the Community Church of Manitowish Waters with a gathering one hour prior the service at the church. Refreshments will follow.
