Marilyn Ann (Ragsdale) Best, 76 years of age, passed away on October 22, 2013.
An only daughter of Merle and Gertrude Ragsdale of Eldorado, Ann faithfully fulfilled her position as pastor's wife at several United Methodist churches. The crowning achievement of her life was the founding of the Nokomis Community Closet. It is thriving and supplying clothes to the needy. This outlives her life.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; son, Keith; daughter Nancy, three granddaughters, and one great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 3, at 2 p.m. The service will be at Haygood United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach.
