Bernetta Jeanine Milam, 91, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 10:33 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home.
Born August 3, 1929 in Galesburg to Edwin and Ernestine (Weber) Blair, she married Jamie G. Milam on November 11, 1953 in Kingsville Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one step-son, Kenneth Milam; one sister, Carlene Case and one brother, James Blair.
Surviving are her three daughters, Nancy Morrison of Fort Myers, Florida, Gwen Milam of Creve Coeur, Susie (Ron) Pender of Marshall, Illinois and one granddaughter, Tina (Keith) Steinbaugh of Palm Springs, California.
Bernetta enjoyed volunteering for Ladies of St. Jude and other places where she could help. She loved spending time with her family, traveling to Israel with her husband, singing, dancing, and making crafts.
Her inurnment will be held at a later date at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg, Illinois.
Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
