Kingdom Building

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Matt. 6:33, NIV

In the New Testament Jesus speaks more about the Kingdom of heaven than anything else.  He compares it to everyday things. He even tells us what the Kingdom will be like.  It was important to Jesus that we do our best to bring the Kingdom of Heaven a little closer.  As a young man Jesus was an entrepreneur, a builder and understood it takes resources to build anything.  The United Methodist Foundation is interested in helping to bring that Kingdom closer. The United Methodist Foundation wants to be a resource to help bring our faith and finances together to bring the Kingdom closer.

There are five things the United Methodist Foundation can do to support you in bringing the Kingdom closer: 

• Developing and funding your annual budget.
• Providing guidance for capital campaigns
• Encouraging people to remember their church in their estate plans.
• Funding of new ministries, specifically in the area of children and seniors.
• Investment of funds for Kingdom building.
